ABOUT US
Krantz Electric Inc. is an established electrical contracting business in the Madison area and surrounding communities with over 40 years of experience. Founded in 1978, starting with two men, we provide service for residential and commercial customers including new construction, remodels, additions and design build projects. We also offer 24 hour emergency service, seven days a week. Our service manager pays attention to detail for each and every customer. This kind of service is greatly appreciated by all our residential and commercial customers.
The company is certified for the State of Wisconsin, and has a certified lighting designer on staff. We currently have 25 electricians on our payroll. There is a residential department providing services for wiring new homes, additions and remodels. Customers are invited to visit the showroom to view the display of recessed fixtures, dimmers and devices that are available for installation in their homes.

The commercial division is set up to service customers of all sizes. We can take care of installing a single office outlet or handle projects valued at over $2,000,000.00. There is an AutoCAD expert on staff, to prepare the design build drawings for the general contractor and the building owners. Our lighting designer can approve the plans to insure that they follow all the current national, state, and local requirements. From single story to high rise construction, the project managers at Krantz Electric have the knowledge and the understanding of the International Building Code to correctly install the entire electrical system, including low voltage systems for Fire Alarm, security, phone & data wiring & equipment.
