Krantz Electric Inc. is also an authorized installer for photo voltaic (solar) systems. Solar panels have been installed at the Krantz Electric office and you are invited to view the panels and contact Joe Krantz or Brian Marvin with any questions you may have about this system. The panels generate a DC voltage that is converted to AC for use at our office. These panels are mounted on a tracker that allows the panels to follow the sun throughout the course of the day. This allows for maximum efficiency of the system. This operation includes a meter that shows the current output of the panels and also gives a cumulative total of electricity that has been generated. There are incentives from Focus on Energy and the federal government to help offset the initial installation costs of this system.
